John Obi Mikel has been handed the No. 10 shirt by Tianjin TEDA.
The Super Eagles captain joined the Chinese Super League as a free agent in January, after failing to make a single appearance under Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte.
His compatriot who recently signed for the club, Brown Ideye, will wear the No. 39 shirt.
Ideye completed his move on Tuesday from Olympiakos.
Tianjin TEDA begin their campaign in the Chinese topflight, when they face Shandong Luneng Jinan at the Olympic Sports Center Stadium on March 4.
Both players were excluded from Gernot Rohr’s squad, for this month’s friendly matches against Senegal and Burkina Faso.
