The Lagos State Government says the key suspects arrested for kidnapping the traditional ruler of Iba Town, Oba Goriola Oseni, would be arraigned before a Lagos High Court in Igbosere today.
In a statement, the State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Adeniji Kazeem, said the four suspects would be arraigned before Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo.
The statement said the suspects would be arraigned on an eight count charge relating to kidnapping the monarch, murder of the palace security guard — Sunday Okanlawon and a commercial motorcycle rider, Joseph Okeke.
It also said they would be charged for the attempted murder of the monarch’s wife, Olori Abosede Oseni and robbery of her property.
The statement reassured the public of the Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s resolve to rid the state of all forms of criminality.
